Kid's Bubble Football is a hilarious and chaotic twist on the beautiful game, strap yourselves into your giant inflatable bubble and step onto the pitch, then barge, bounce and bump your way through a thrilling five-a-side match. If you can stop yourself howling with laughter for long enough, dribble it forward before smashing it home past the goalie. Rules are the same as standard football except you are wearing a protective bubble and barging people to the floor isn't frowned upon. A referee will be on hand to run through the rules and keep things in order.

Bubble Football FAQ

Players will be rotated every 10-15 minutes to make sure everyone gets plenty of game time (and recovery time — trust us, you’ll need it!).
 
If you can stop laughing long enough, dribble the ball forward and try to smash it past the goalie! The rules are the same as standard football — except you’re inside a giant inflatable bubble, and barging people to the floor is totally encouraged.
 
A referee will be there to explain the rules and keep things in order.
 

Restrictions

  • Maximum height: 6′ 8″
     
  • Maximum weight: 23 stone
     
  • Parental consent required for anyone under 16.
     
  • Adults and children under 14 cannot play together in the same session.
     

Who Can Play?

Participants should be fit, healthy, and not pregnant or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
If you have a medical condition, please check with your doctor before playing.
Mixed-gender sessions are totally fine — as long as everyone plays sensibly.
 

Spectators

Bubble Football is hilarious to watch, so bring your mates, family, or anyone who wants a good laugh — spectators are always welcome!
 

Event Questions

What destinations do you cover?
We cover all major towns and cities across England, Wales, Scotland, and Ireland — plus abroad in Spain & Portugal (with more coming soon!).
 
What’s the minimum group size?
We recommend a minimum of 10 players.
Groups of 8 can still play, but this may include an additional cost.
 
What’s included?

  • Venue hire (if required)
     
Why only 10 Bubble Suits?
All games are played on a 5-a-side pitch for safety and insurance reasons, so 10 suits are provided.
For larger groups, players rotate in and out — which is a welcome break because Bubble Football is a serious workout!
 
While you’re resting, you can enjoy watching your mates roll, crash, and bounce around — it’s just as funny from the sidelines!
 

Event Format

The session format varies based on your group size and chosen package.
 
Recommended timings:
 
  • 0–20 players – 60 minutes
     
  • 21–25 players – 90 minutes
     
  • 26+ players – 120 minutes
     
Every event starts with a safety briefing, a demo on how to use the bubbles, and some practice time before the real games begin.
 

What Are Bubble Suits?

Bubble Suits are inflatable bubbles you wear over your upper body with grips inside for your hands and straps to secure you.
They’re designed to cushion you as you bump, roll, and collide — making Bubble Football safe, fun, and absolutely hilarious!
 

What Should I Wear?

We recommend tracksuit bottoms or joggers, a short-sleeve top, and trainers.
❌ Please don’t wear football boots with studs or blades.
 

Are the venues indoors or outdoors?

All Bubble Football events are held outdoors on grass, 3G, or astro pitches.
 

What if the weather isn’t great?

Bubble Football is an all-weather activity — the suits keep you warm and dry.
It’s actually cooler and more comfortable to play outside, even in winter!
Only extreme weather (like storms, heavy snow, or high winds) may cause cancellations.
 

Can we drink alcohol while playing?

No — players who are drinking or appear intoxicated won’t be allowed to play, and no refunds will be given.
 

Venue Questions

Can I book or provide my own venue?
Yes! We can come to you.
We just need:
 
  • A space of around 25m x 25m
     
  • A safe, even surface (grass, astro, or 3G/4G – no concrete or tennis courts)
     
  • If power isn’t available, you can add a wireless blower at checkout.
     
If your venue doesn’t meet safety standards, we won’t be able to run the event and no refund will be given.

 
Is there parking or changing facilities?
Most venues have changing rooms and showers, and we’ll confirm this when you book.
Parking availability depends on the venue — just let us know if it’s required. If we are coming to your venue please make sure we have adaquate parking and that it's free.
 

Booking Questions

How do I book?
You can book online with a £50 deposit.
The balance is due 10 days before your event.
 
Can I change my date or time?
We’ll do our best to accommodate changes, but a £10 amendment fee may apply.
 
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the event are refundable.
Within 14 days, bookings are non-refundable.
All deposits are non-refundable.
 

Kids & Junior Events

What ages can play?
We run Bubble Football for ages 6–18 in two groups:
 
  • Children: 6–10 years
     
  • Juniors: 11–18 years
     
Children and adults cannot play together for safety reasons.
 
Do players need to be similar ages?
Yes, for safety, players should be within about three years of each other.
 
Do you provide food or party rooms?
Food isn’t included, but we can suggest nearby restaurants or fast-food options.
Some venues have party rooms that you may be able to book, this can be done by contacting the centre directly, we do not get involved.

Once you have booked and paid the deposit we will send you a confirmation email with all the information regarding your booking.

 

If you require a party room and food/drink you need to book this in directly with the centre.

Some centre's prices may have changed and not been updated on our system. If they have we will let you know straight away incase there is a surcharge.
